Sometimes it’s the things we fear most we should fear being without.

THE SUN.

And oh the many stories we have been told of her. We’ve taken others’ beliefs at face value, made associations in our mind and never questioned the validity of them. Sound familiar?

What if these stories and beliefs are not yours to hold onto? Close your eyes, drop into your heartspace and ask yourself, “IS THIS MY TRUTH?” What if the Sun was yours to nurture, to care for, how would you describe her to a friend?

FEEL INTO THAT. CHOOSE IT.

Each and everyday she greets you just as you are in the present moment. She’s ALWAYS there no matter the weather in the sky, your location on this planet, or the season of life you and the Earth are in. Yet, we fear her, we avoid her. Imagine fearing someone who is in your company twenty-four seven and you cannot leave them, but rather have to co-exist?

Greet her before she can find you. Before 10:00 AM shower your body in her warmth. EVERYDAY. Take it in. No matter what. Bring your morning drink of choice, your favorite novel, your breakfast, or even a furry friend or two.

Let her hold you.

Let her hold your worries and fears.

Let her hold your wildest wishes, dreams, and desires.

She will share her light and her medicine with you.

Visit her again, midday her time. We call it “solar noon”, the time at which the Sun is at the highest point in the sky. This time varies depending on your geographical location. This is the body’s ideal time to make vitamin D.

You come back later, this time it’s bedtime. Put her to sleep. Lay beside her, tell her a story, thank her for experiencing life with you.

Rewrite the story of the sun,

of what is your truth.

If you find yourself forgetting,

Come back here.

I’ll always give you the sun.
