Just the Bare Necessities Granola

Nut Free, Dairy Free, Gluten-Free, Refined Sugar Free Granola

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 2 cups of gluten-free, organic, sprouted oats (FAVORITE: One Degree Organics)
  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup of sunflower Seeds
  • 1/2 cup of coconut flakes
  • Pinch of salt 
  • Organic ground cinnamon

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 175 F.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients into a large bowl (oats, seeds, coconut flakes)
  3. Take honey and coconut oil and melt in microwave for 40 seconds.
  4. Pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown. 
  6. Allow granola to cool and transfer to a glass jar for storage at room temperature.

This recipe is just the bare necessities! Get creative and have a blast in the kitchen! For a sweet and salty version, add dried fruit and salted nuts and seeds of your choice. For those craving a decadent treat, add cacao or cocoa powder.
